Return Policy

Order Changes and Cancellations

Order changes or cancellations can only be accepted if your order has not already been dispatched. You may cancel or make changes to your order via email, or by phoning the office. Orders are usually dispatched within 2 working days.

For all orders that are returned due to an incorrect address, you will be charged a fee of $10 for repacking and postage.

Very rarely, we may unexpectedly run out of a style and if this happens, we will offer a full refund on that product or provide a replacement product upon request.



If an item you wish to purchase is currently unavailable, please ensure to sign up to our notify when back in stock list via. the product's page to be notified as soon as it is restocked.

Returns

Orders must be returned with 14-days of delivery to qualify for a refund. Items must also be unwashed, unused, and in their original condition.

Sale and Seconds items are not eligible for refunds.

Refunds may be provided to the original form of payment. EFTPOS/Credit Card refunds must be processed against the original card details (the exact card used to make the original purchase). Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.

Once returns are received and processed by The Beach People Warehouse Team, refunds may take 5-10 days to reflect. This is dependent on the form of payment used.

Orders returned within 30-days of delivery, may receive a store credit or an exchange for additional product may be provided upon request.

Seconds items are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

Items must be unwashed, unused, and in their original conditionto qualify.

Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.

The Beach People is happy to accept returns within thirty (30) days of delivery as long as items are unwashed, unused, and in their original condition.

Sale and Seconds items are noteligible for return.

NEXT STEPS:

If you would like to return your order, please email hellousa@thebeachpeople.com.au with your name, order number, the item(s) you wish to send back along with a brief reason for the return. Once your return is authorized by our Customer Care Team, it may be shipped to The Beach People Warehouse address provided.

Return shipping to The Beach People Warehouse will be at the cost of the purchaser. As The Beach People is not liable for the loss of an item being returned we recommend that you return it using registered mail and keep track of the tracking number.

Upon request, a return label may be provided and a $10 handling fee will be deducted from the returned product value.

Please note: Upon arrival, returns may take 1-3 business days to be processed by The Beach People Warehouse Team.

Problem with Received Order

Very rarely, our warehouse team may mistakenly add or omit an item to an order. If you are missing an item or have received an incorrect item, please contact hellousa@thebeachpeople.com.au stating the issue. All missing or incorrect items must be reported to customer service within 7 days of delivery.

Once items have been shipped, they become the property and responsibility of the purchaser. If a product is damaged in transit or is misplaced, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to liaise with the shipping carrier. 

All products are checked prior to shipping. Should a product arrive faulty and it not be due to transit experience, The Beach People will replace the goods at no cost to the purchaser. You have up to seven (7) days, from the date your order arrives to notify The Beach People about the faulty item along with a photo of the fault.

If you are returning or exchanging a faulty, damaged or incorrect item postage fees will be waived.

If your order has been confirmed as delivered but was not received, The Beach People strongly recommends communicating with both your neighbors or community office (if applicable) to ensure it was not mistakenly delivered. If still having trouble locating your items, please contact your local UPS office as it may be held there.

If your order has not been found after corresponding with your local UPS, please contact Customer Care at hellousa@thebeachpeople.com.au. Missing orders must be reported within 10 days of UPS confirmed delivery.

Customer Care may open a trace and/or claim for lost in transit and misdelivered packages. Further information can be provided by your assigned Customer Care Team Member.
