Return Policy

Order Changes and Cancellations

Order modifications or cancellations may only be accepted if your order has not already been dispatched.

Be sure to enter your shipping address correctly, as once it has been received and dispatched, we cannot alter the address. Standard applicable postage rates will be additionally charged to resend any returned to sender orders.

Please note, cancellations and order modifications may only be made between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm EST, Monday through Friday.

You may request to cancel or make changes to your order by contacting our customer team via. email, or by phoning our Miami office.

Very rarely, we may unexpectedly run out of a style and if this happens, we will offer a full refund on that product or provide a replacement product upon request.

If an item you wish to purchase is currently unavailable, please ensure to sign up to our notify when back in stock list via. the product's page to be notified as soon as it is restocked.

Exchanges

Please be mindful when purchasing online, as colors may slightly vary from screen to product purchased. If you are unsure about the color of a certain product, please email hellousa@thebeachpeople.com.au and we will be happy to help.

Please note that The Beach People offers exchanges on "change of mind" goods, within thirty (30) days of receipt only if the item has been unopened, unused and is in its original condition. Exchange shipping will be at the cost of the purchaser. Items marked as 'SECONDS' are not eligible for exchanges nor returns.

To submit an exchange please email hellousa@thebeachpeople.com.au with your name, order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the item(s) you would like in exchange. 

Items may be shipped for exchange once approved by our Customer Service Team. 

Once your exchange has been approved, please ship your item along with your Order Confirmation Number to:

Returns

The Beach People is happy to accept returns within 14 days of receipt as long as items are unwashed, unused, with tags and in their original condition.

Return shipping will be at the cost of the purchaser.

Sale items and products marked as 'SECONDS' are not eligible for returns. 

To submit a return please email hellousa@thebeachpeople.com.au with your name, order number, the item(s) you wish to return and the reason for the return.

As The Beach People is not liable for the loss of an item being returned we recommend that you return it using registered mail and keep track of the tracking number.

Refunds

The Beach People does not offer refunds for shipping fees nor sale items.

Sale items will only be eligible for refund if the product has arrived faulty beyond repair or if an alternate style is unavailable for exchange. 

Refunds may be granted after the return of merchandise, through the form of a store credit or through the original form of payment upon request. EFTPOS/Credit Card refunds must be processed against the original card details (the exact card used to make the original purchase).

Please note that refunds can take up to 10 working days to process.

Problem with Received Order

All orders are checked prior to shipping. Very rarely, our warehouse team may mistakenly add or omit an item to an order.

If you are missing an item or have received an incorrect item, please contact hellousa@thebeachpeople.com.au with your order number and a description of the issue. All missing or incorrect items must be reported to customer service within 7 days of delivery.

Items reported missing more than 7 days after delivery will not be eligible for refund, or replacement.

All products are checked prior to shipping. Should a product arrive faulty, it must be communicated to The Beach People Team within 7 days after the order is delivered.

Items reported faulty more than 7 days after delivery will not be eligible for refund, replacement or exchange.

If you are returning or exchanging a faulty, damaged or incorrect item return postage fees will be waived.

Once items have been shipped, they become the property and responsibility of the purchaser.

Packages marked delivered by the carrier may not qualify for a refund. If your order was not received but is marking delivered, please contact our Customer Care team to file a claim.

There will be no refunds/store credits or exchanges given for lost packages due to incorrect address.
