This beautiful charity is made up of a small team of local, passionate volunteers who have dedicated many years to protecting and restoring the area. The breathtaking Fingal Headland is suffering from severe erosion and gullying, dehydration of native grassland, increasing visitor numbers, invasion of foreign plant species and lack of formal pathways and viewing areas.
The Coastcare team is working to repair eroded areas, restore and protect native grassland, protect significant Aboriginal and European heritage sites, and limit the impact of visitors by constructing pathways and viewing platforms, all with the help of donations and support from the community.
